Experiments
In recent years, several experiments have been conducted, contributing to the formation of the product's prototype.
Following a comprehensive development Prototype 0 was developed in 2022 with the technology located on the tool itself and suitable for composites application
Prototype 1 & 2 were developed in 2023, successfully integrating the technology on a standard ER32 toolholder. ( prototype 2 has some geometrical and materials improves )
Prototypes 1 and 2 go are currently in production at customer sites, providing valuable feedback in different sites and conditions.
Numerous aspects of the product’s prototypes are being reviewed and tested, such as the product software application, and the critical temperature calibration and measurements, in comparison to a thermal camera.
In the coming months further development and production will take place, to meet other ER tool holders’ requirements/functionalities, as well as other tool holders’ systems and materials.
